About:
Meet Daisy Winters. She’s an offbeat sixteen-year-old Floridian with mermaid-red hair; a part time job at a bootleg Walmart, and a perfect older sister who’s nearly engaged to the Crown Prince of Scotland. Daisy has no desire to live in the spotlight, but relentless tabloid attention forces her to join Ellie at the relative seclusion of the castle across the pond.
While the dashing young Miles has been appointed to teach Daisy the ropes of being regal, the prince’s roguish younger brother kicks up scandal wherever he goes, and tries his best to take Daisy along for the ride. The crown–and the intriguing Miles–might be trying to make Daisy into a lady . . . but Daisy may just rewrite the royal rulebook to suit herself. (Goodreads)

Review:
A perfect read for those still in the Royal Wedding mood, or those looking for a cute summer contemporary read. While it wasn’t the most original story in the world, Rachel Hawkins still managed to create something that was clever and funny. I love our main character Daisy. Her adventures in Scotland and all the trouble that comes along with them are awesome! The setting of the story (Scotland) is wonderfully brought to life. Descriptions might not be perfect to true life, but they fit with the story. There’s a bit of a message in the story about how what is in the media is not always the truth and how it can affect lives. There’s some romance of course. I really enjoyed this book and it’s characters and I can’t wait for the next one in the series. Will we get to see more Daisy and Miles in book 2? Or will in focus on another part of the royal families? Either way I’ll be picking it up!
