Title: Red At Night
Author: Katie McGarry
Publisher: MIRA Ink
Publication: April 1st 2014
Cover Rating: 4/5
Katie McGarry has done it again. She has written another love story between two characters.
We have Stella, who doesn't have a home because her dad is a deadbeat and just lives with one of his ex-girlfriends and we have Jonah, who feels guilty over being alive and someone is dead due to a car accident. They come together because of a cemetery that Stella goes to. They bond over their cemetery visits.
She helps Jonah with his guilt over what happened to him and he helps Stella by giving her hope. It helps them both to change like they want to for themselves and for their future. This showed you that no matter where you are in life and you think your life is over, that you can’t go anywhere, that there is always something that can help you. Whether that is a person or it’s college or a job. There is always hope and as long as you have hope you can do anything.
Overall, I gave the book 5/5 stars.
