Goodreads Description:

This morning, Kady thought breaking up with Ezra was the hardest thing she’d have to do.

This afternoon, her planet was invaded.

The year is 2575, and two rival megacorporations are at war over a planet that’s little more than an ice-covered speck at the edge of the universe. Too bad nobody thought to warn the people living on it. With enemy fire raining down on them, Kady and Ezra—who are barely even talking to each other—are forced to fight their way onto an evacuating fleet, with an enemy warship in hot pursuit.

But their problems are just getting started. A deadly plague has broken out and is mutating, with terrifying results; the fleet's AI, which should be protecting them, may actually be their enemy; and nobody in charge will say what’s really going on. As Kady hacks into a tangled web of data to find the truth, it's clear only one person can help her bring it all to light: the ex-boyfriend she swore she'd never speak to again.

Told through a fascinating dossier of hacked documents—including emails, schematics, military files, IMs, medical reports, interviews, and more—Illuminae is the first book in a heart-stopping, high-octane trilogy about lives interrupted, the price of truth, and the courage of everyday heroes.

Okay, while I do LOVE how this book is written, it does get in my nerves at the same time
This book was a rollercoaster for the simple reason that for me it had its up and down moments
It could be because I kept reading it in fragments
But okay, when this book got intense, it got super intense, like SCARY!
Like you just couldnt believe those things where actually happening
This book is going to be made into a movie and THOSE particular scenes, well
You better get your shit straight Brad Pitt, there were scenes in World War Z that couldve made the movie so epicly classic and thrilling, but they didnt do them, and if they dont do them for Illuminae, ill be pissed
Some of you probably are like dafuq you on?
Brad Pitt will produce Illuminae just as he produced World War Z, no words on the cast yet, but I cant wait!

Okay, so back to the book, the book was thrilling enough for me to get excited to read Gemina (which the book for trade gods blessed me with) which I will probably start this week after I finish my set TBR (first and only time I will set a TBR pile, I get super strict about it and makes me loose my mind)

But anyways, this book is completely one of a kind and even though this book didnt get a stellar review from me

get it
stellar
I still feel like it is a must read, simply because of the way it is made, and the jacket is gorgeous, it is a book you dont want to miss, its a true beauty

Recommend it?
Sure thing
